I’m experimenting with making my blog posts do double-duty on LinkedIn. The real challenge is making them short enough to qualify as a LinkedIn update. The limit on that is 600 characters.
This week I’ll write a short blog every day and link the blog and its related image to my profile. My goal is to have the content and the image appear in the update.
Check out my LinkedIn profile as Kate McGuinness and see if I succeed. I welcome all comments and suggestions.

COACHING TIP: Identify your marketing muse – the role you feel most comfortable in. Are you a speaker, a writer, a networker, a colleague or a cold caller? Look for opportunities to step into the position that fits. Are you an introvert or extrovert or a little of both? If addressing a group intimidates you, opt for writing or one-on-one meetings with colleagues or prospects. Find what works for you and step into that role consistently. Regardless of the approach, consistency is the key.
