When I advise my clients about developing web sites for their businesses, my usual advice is, “Don’t have a blog unless you post regularly. When the last entry is stale, it makes visitors to the site wonder if it’s still lively.”
I’ve decided to belatedly take my own advice. You won’t see any more 500 word essays here. I’ll be posting a few sentences several times a week about how we can all make progress toward our goals — the coach included!
So here are my thoughts for today: review whether the strategies and tools you’ve chosen to reach your goals are working for you. Maybe you’ve decided to boost your visibility to increase your pool of potential clients. Your boss tells you there’s a conference coming up and she could arrange for you to have a speaking slot. But the prospect of addressing a room full of strangers makes you break into a sweat. Chances are you’d be much more comfortable preparing an article to be included in the conference materials.
Your strategy of increased visibility would still be achieved — you’ve simply chosen a different tool. One that works for you!
